The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will play a crucial role in developing financial planning material ranging from monthly projections to long-term strategic business plans. The Director will also be essential to supporting initiatives and reviewing critical financial decisions pertaining to all lines of business.  Executing presentations for our Executive Team, Board and investors, as well as assisting with due diligence efforts for M&A activities, will be central to this role.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare clear, metric-based, financial plans/forecasts including monthly projections, annual operating business plan and line of business budgets as well as multi-year, long term strategic business plans and financial statement projections and valuation models.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and analyses to aid in the validation of existing forecasts; support all lines of business, strategic initiatives and help review critical financial decisions; support internal and external financial and management reporting including board and SEC reporting, investor relations.
  • Assist in the due diligence process for the identification and valuation of potential acquisitions and divestitures, including integration or carve requirements.
  • Administer and provide management variance analysis for company planning, forecasting and reporting including all dashboard, operating and board reporting packages
  • Assist with ad-hoc modeling and analysis
  • Participate in all corporate development and M&A activities
  • Assist in the preparation of executive, board level, investor and research analysts’ presentations.

 

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • MBA from a top 25 program. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent will be considered
  • 5-10 years FP&A experience
  • CPA/CFA or equivalent certification a plus
  • Expert with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of database structure and reporting
  • Excellent analytical and modeling skills
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and team-management skills
  • Experience with financial statement analysis and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts
  • Experience with Revenue Recognition concepts a plus
