Account Manager

 

The Account Manager at etouches will manage and grow a portfolio of etouches’ event management software clients. This position is a customer service leadership role within the sales team that will focus heavily on strategic growth of accounts through upselling of etouches technology and Professional Services offerings, as well as on renewals and retention. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients to drive revenue and expand market share. You must be an enthusiastic, motivated individual who thrives in a fast paced team environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in and deep knowledge of the global events market, and have experience selling a SaaS product successfully. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction; utilize customer service skills to resolve client inquiries; understand needs of clients and determine appropriate solutions to upsell.

  • Cultivate and maintain excellent relationships with clients to build client loyalty/retention and promote increased usage and adoption of software, as well as identify and close new business.

  • Renewal of client agreements; monitor client usage of software and offer consultative advice and strategic direction to help clients meet business objectives.

  • Effectively demonstrate detailed product knowledge and value of the software.

  • Gather client feedback and requirements for future releases of the software.

  • Remain current on industry trends and technical information regarding software and services, as well as the competitive landscape.

  • Enter sales opportunities into sales database (SalesForce.com)

  • Effectively manage sales process, pipeline and forecasting.

     

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and professional industry working experience

  • 5+ years of account management/sales experience, at least 3 of which have been within the global event management industry and/or Software as a Service company/ies.

  • Great work ethic and attitude; solution driven as well as possession of flexible and strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to integrate knowledge across disciplines to include consultative selling, product demonstrations, closing contracts, operation/process flow, and product function

  • Must be articulate, organized, detail-oriented, and the ability to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment

  • Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with clients and internal team members and develop relationships over the phone

  • High level of technical aptitude. Ability to understand and communicate with clients on a semi-technical level

  • Excellent English written and spoken language skills

  • Comfortable using online software sales automation products such as Salesforce.com and web collaboration tools like GoToMeeting
